Vietnam

After the last two weeks, coming back to reality is definitely a challenge. Starting in Taipei, I think I found a new home. I would love to live there someday. It was absolutely beautiful and in all the chaos of the city, it was nothing like it is here, it’s peaceful. I’m so happy that I got to share this experience with the people that I did. It wouldn’t not have been the same if he wasn’t there by my side everyday, just as excited as I was.

Vietnam was possibly the most naturally beautiful place I have ever seen. Our 4 hour cruise through Ha Long Bay and crawling through the ChuChi tunnels were two life changing experiences and I am so grateful that I got the opportunity to go.

The food on the trip - wow!! Even though I am so sick of rice and spring rolls that I could throw up the next time I see them, the food was absolutely amazing! Fresh fish and seafood at every meal! I don’t think I had ever eaten so much in my life!

Overall, I am so excited for what the next year will bring. I started my new job yesterday and I am in love with it. I wish it wasn’t temporary! When we go back to school in september, I have big plans for myself and can’t wait to get started already! It’s a new start and we will rock this shit. As long as I have you in my life, everything is going to be okay. You are my rock, my karaoke partner, my “Kaptain” and above all else, my best friend!

As of March 23, 2012, Disney Legend Glen Keane has left the Walt Disney animation studios. Glen served as a mentor to several Disney artists and a hero to those aspiring to work for the company. This post is in honor of his outstanding work in animation, his ability to breathe life into that which was once without and his dedication to the Walt Disney company.

The coming months

There’s is so much that I’m looking forward to and I can’t wait! :) My birthday is in a few days, I’m going to Vegas with my mom on our first vacation together in a week and a half. Vietnam couldn’t come sooner. But I think what I’m most excited for, is this summer. I may not have gotten the internship that I was hoping for, but this summer will still be great! I can’t wait for the big camping trip and drives on the bike! Ahh summer, why are you so far away!
